Dr. Paul Whidden

Dr. Whidden is a second-generation plastic surgeon who has literally been immersed in the field of plastic surgery for his entire life. After graduating medical school with distinction from the University of Alberta, Dr. Whidden went on to complete residency, then a fellowship, in both breast and hand surgery. He then joined his father’s practice for 10 years where he honed his cosmetic expertise before co-founding Macleod Trail Plastic Surgery in 2012. Dr. Whidden specializes specifically in cosmetic breast procedures, abdominoplasties, and rhinoplasties. He currently serves as a consultant for Allergan Canada, where he lends his experience and knowledge through advising and teaching.

Dr. Brett Byers

Dr. Byers takes a special interest in both the form and function of the human body. He earned his undergraduate degree in physical therapy and worked as a physiotherapist while he pursued his medical degree. After completing a residency in plastic surgery and a fellowship in upper extremity surgery, Dr. Byers is excited to serve the aesthetic and reconstructive needs of patients at Macleod Trail Plastic Surgery.
