A positive experience begins with your first phone call or visit to our plastic surgery practice in Calgary and continues through your follow-up appointments.
Administrative & Public Relations Coordinator
Brooke's smiling face greets our patients when they arrive at our Calgary plastic surgery practice. She's been an integral part of our team since 2011, and her personable, friendly nature helps puts patients at ease. Brooke wears multiple hats on a typical day at the office, including handling our social media presence online. Outside of the office, she likes spending time with her boyfriend Daryl and stays active walking, biking, camping, and skiing. She also enjoys playing with her Golden Retriever.
"I love knowing how happy our patients are, whether it's a mom of 3 kids who just had a mommy makeover or a construction worker who injured his hand on a job site and underwent reconstructive plastic surgery. It's pretty cool to see the joy in people after a life-changing surgery."
Yasmine's 20 years of experience working for private plastic surgery practices is valued by our patients, surgeons, and other team members. She combines compassion with her knowledge to give patients peace of mind as their surgical day approaches. Yasmine organizes the daily operations of the surgical suite and consistently looks for ways to enhance the patient experience. She loves to see the increased confidence of women and men who undergo aesthetic surgery with Dr. Whidden, Dr. Humphreys or Dr. Byers. Yasmine and her husband, Keith, have two children and like to go camping together. She also enjoys painting and photography.
"It's very fulfilling to hear patients say that I made them less nervous and put them at ease, and knowing I helped create a positive experience for them."
Patient Care Coordinator
Jenna-May joined Macleod Trail Plastic Surgery in 2008, and she books consultations and surgeries for Dr. Whidden, Dr. Humphreys and Dr. Byers. Patients and other members of our team rely on Jenna-May as a valuable resource, thanks to her experience and versatility. She likes helping patients who are making decisions about whether to pursue a procedure they may have been thinking about for years. When she's not at the office, Jenna-May enjoys camping and spending time outdoors with her husband, Connor, and their son. Unfortunately, two knee surgeries curtailed her baseball-playing days.
"I love where I work. Everyone works really well with each other and is supportive. It's such a privilege to be part of a team that can change someone's life in such a positive way."
Medical Office Assistant to Dr. Whidden
Trista uses her natural communication skills and great sense of humor to help Dr. Whidden's patients feel calm as she prepares them for consultations or assists them on the days of their surgeries and follow-up appointments. She's passionate about helping people and enjoys working with women and men who are excited about pursuing their aesthetic goals. Trista spends most of her free time hanging out with her young daughter and also enjoys fishing, reading, camping, and good wine.
"We have such a good group of people working here...The atmosphere is warm, relaxing, and friendly, which is the result of everyone being passionate about their jobs. And we have such wonderful patients!"
Medical Office Assistant to Dr. Humphreys
Nikki coordinates all aspects of patient care for Dr. Humphreys and is known for her outgoing, bubbly personality that keeps smiles on the faces of patients and co-workers alike. She takes pride in helping patients understand what to expect throughout their experiences at our practice and enjoys the one-on-one time that she gets with them. Outside of the office, she's active on the Blackfoot Hockey Association Board.
"Seeing patients who are happy with the results of their cosmetic surgery, feeling more confident and beautiful, is one of the most meaningful parts of my job."
Medical Office Assistant to Dr. Byers
Susan schedules all of Dr. Byers' patients for consultations, surgeries, and follow-ups. Her warm, friendly personality helps patients feel at ease, and her knack for multitasking keeps us organized. Some of Susan's favorite aspects of her work at Macleod Trail Plastic Surgery are the professionalism of her co-workers, the diversity among patients, and the ongoing opportunities for learning. Outside of work, Susan loves traveling, staying busy, and learning new things. She's the proud mother of two teenagers.
"The team here is professional, supportive, and a lot of fun. There is also such a mix of patients and procedures. Every day is different, and I'm always learning something new."
