BOTOX COSMETIC®

Men are getting BOTOX® injections from their early 30s to their 50s. Many of our patients say they didn't think they would ever be in a plastic surgeon's office but have seen the difference injectables such as BOTOX® made in the appearance of colleagues and friends. BOTOX® works by relaxing the muscles that move when you change expressions, such as squinting, frowning, or looking surprised. Men and women, however, tend to have different goals when they get BOTOX®. Women want smooth skin and often get BOTOX® to minimize forehead wrinkles and the vertical lines, often called "worry lines," between the eyes. Guys are more interested in softening crow's feet at the corners of the eyes but don't want to erase all wrinkles.
