BELKYRA®

Submental fullness, a condition commonly known as a double chin, can affect men and women alike, regardless of age or level of physical fitness. For some patients, liposuction can help reduce unwanted fat beneath the chin, but BELKYRA is an effective choice for patients who may wish to avoid surgery.

Its active ingredient, deoxycholic acid, already exists within our bodies as an aid to digestion, dissolving fat in the foods we eat. When administered to unwanted fat beneath the chin, BELKYRA works in a similar way, breaking down fat cells gradually to create an attractive profile. BELKYRA often requires several treatments to be fully effective; its results can be long lasting.

Types of Restylane®

Defyne: For deeper wrinkles/folds (nasolabial, marionette lines), and also chin augmentation. When you need more support but still want natural expression.

Classyc: For moderate to severe wrinkles & folds (e.g., nasolabial folds), and lip enhancement.

Refyne: For moderate wrinkles and folds, especially in areas with movement (smile lines, mild nasolabial folds) where you still want expression to show naturally.

Kysse: For enhancing lip volume and shape, plus correcting upper perioral (around the mouth) wrinkles.

SkinVive by Juvéderm®

Frequently Asked Questions

A treatment session with us will last about an hour. We will begin by preparing your treatment areas and marking the places were injections will produce the best results. If you choose to have a topical anesthetic, we will also apply that before proceeding.

The injections themselves will take about 20 minutes to perform. Once complete, we ask that you sit for a few minutes, and then you are free to go.

With neuromodulators (e.g., BOTOX) and dermal fillers, you can smooth out wrinkles on various parts of the face and add volume. Results of a single treatment may last for several months, but injectables are temporary and they don't remove excess, sagging skin. For example, drooping skin above or beneath the eyes cannot be treated effectively with injectables. Although neuromodulators can slightly elevate the brows, they cannot truly lift a heavy, sagging brow.
