Ablative Laser Facial Treatments
During this treatment, a layer of the epidermis is removed through laser ablation. It resurfaces the skin to improve the appearance of sun damage, pores, texture and fine lines. Collagen formation is also stimulated through the process. Up to three treatments may be recommended.
Downtime is 5-7 days with tenderness, redness, abrasions, flaking and potential swelling.
This treatment uses laser pulses to deeply resurface the skin, effectively treating fine lines and reducing wrinkles, as well as reducing sun damage and discolouration. It also stimulates collagen production within the dermis to improve wrinkles, laxity, and scarring. One to three treatments are generally recommended.
Downtime is 7-9 days with tenderness, redness, abrasions, flaking and swelling.
A combination of Fractional for deep resurfacing and collagen remodeling, followed by a micro laser peel to exfoliate the superficial layers of skin. Results are improved firmness, tone, and texture. One to three treatments are generally recommended.
Downtime is 7-9 days.
Non-Ablative Laser Facial Treatments
Laser energy is applied inside of the mouth to tighten the tissue around the mouth, improving folds or laxity in the smile lines. Three to four treatments are required.
By bulk heating the skin of the lower face, the laser energy is able to stimulate new collagen production and contract elastin fibers to tighten the skin of the lower face, including the cheeks, jawline and under the chin. Four (4) treatments are recommended.
Best Suited for Treating: Skin laxity of the lower face and chin
This treatment involves the Intraoral Skin Tightening treatment detailed above, combined with a treatment applied to the lower face to tighten the skin, improving laxity of skin along the cheeks, jawline and under the chin. 3 Treatments are recommended.
Best Suited for Treating: Creases or laxity of the nasolabial folds (smile lines) and skin laxity of the lower face
The skin of the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, and sides of the eyes is bulk heated to stimulate new collagen production and elastin contraction to tighten the skin and smooth crepey skin, resulting in a smoothed eye appearance. Inner eye shields are placed in the eyes for protection during treatment. Four (4) treatments are recommended.
Minimal downtime. Skin is red for several hours post-treatment, and mild, delayed exfoliation of the skin is expected from 24-72 hours post treatment.
Best Suited for Treating: Skin laxity or crepey skin of the eyes
This treatment plumps the lips short term through laser heat energy, and long term through stimulating natural collagen production in the lips. It also causes an exfoliation effect, leaving the lips smoothed.
Best Suited for Treating: Thin, crepey lips
This treatment combines three laser modalities which reduce inflammation, kill acne bacteria, reduce overactive sebaceous glands, and promote healing while stimulating collagen for the long term healing of acne. Three to six treatments are recommended at two week intervals.
Effectively targets broken capillaries caused by rosacea or telangiecstasia, to reduce redness and even the complexion.
No downtime. Slight redness, potential bruising lasting up to two (2) weeks.
Best Suited for Treating: Broken capillaries, Rosacea, Telangiectasia
Non-Ablative Laser Body Treatments
Effectively targets hair on the face and body for permanent removal or reduction. Five to eight sessions are necessary spaced 6-10 weeks apart, depending on treatment area. Safe for all skin tones. Hair must have pigment (not blonde) and be darker than the skin color to effectively reduce the hair.
No social downtime. Aftercare procedures to follow, including avoiding exercise, sweating and heat for 24 hours.
Laser energy is directed at spider veins and converted in to heat which collapses the vein wall. Multiple treatments are generally required.
TightSculpting uses a unique dual-wavelength treatment to sculpt and tighten the skin in this non-invasive treatment. Firms and tightens skin showing signs of laxity or with a crepey appearance. Four treatments spaced two to four weeks apart are required.
Best Suited for Treating: Skin laxity of the body resulting in crepey skin
Laser energy is applied to the scalp on thinning areas to stimulate dormant hair follicles. Recommended as a supplementary therapy to other hair regrowth protocols including PRP Injections, topical treatments or medications. It is encouraged to have bloodwork done by your physician prior to treatment to rule out any underlying medical reasons for hair loss. Four to six treatments recommended, at two week intervals.
Raised benign moles can be effectively removed using laser ablation. The area is numbed before treatment and is relatively painless. Once healed, the skin is left flat and even toned.
Low downtime. Slight bleeding for up to 12 hours post-treatment, and scabbing for approximately seven (7) days.
Best Suited for Treating: Raised benign moles
Gynecological Laser Treatments
Due to aging and/or childbirth, some women face issues of urinary incontinence or vaginal laxity (the weakening of the vaginal walls). Using controlled heating from the laser, the photo-thermal heating increases collagen production in the vaginal walls and urethra. This enhances the structure and support of the vaginal mucosa leading to improvement of the symptoms of urinary incontinence and vaginal laxity. Recommended two treatments, 6-8 weeks apart.
Minimal downtime. Mild swelling and redness to the treated area. The area is numbed prior to treatment to improve patient comfort. Post-care instructions provided prior to treatment. This procedure is performed by one of our gynecology nurses.
