Non-Surgical Procedures
JUVÉDERM® is used to restore volume to your face and create a fuller, more youthful appearance. When injected, fillers add volume and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. At our Calgary plastic surgery clinic, we use FDA approved hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance that is found naturally in your body. Depending on your needs, we offer a selection of JUVÉDERM® fillers specifically formulated for use in different areas of the face.
Our Nurse Injector, Joelle, offers Complimentary Consultations for both BOTOX® and JUVÉDERM® to ensure that you get the treatment that is best tailored to your individual needs. Both of these procedures have minimal downtime, with subtle but stunning results!
Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a very popular procedure as it is used to correct sagging, puffy eyelids and help patients look more youthful and rested. As masks have become part of our everyday lives, a focus has been placed on our eyes, which for some has highlighted new areas of concern. Blepharoplasty is the removal of the excess skin and tissue either above or below the eye (sometimes even both). The procedure itself typically takes 1-2 hours, and the scarring is expertly hidden in the natural creases of the eyelid.
At MacLeod Trail Plastic Surgery, our Royal College-certified Plastic Surgeons have seen an increase in the demand for this procedure throughout the pandemic. Examples of our surgeon’s work can be found on our Online Gallery.
Mommy Makeovers
Mommy makeovers refer to two or more procedures being combined into one surgery. This not only allows for you to address more than one concern at a time, but also means a single recovery period and more comprehensive results! At MacLeod Trail Plastic Surgery, you can create a customized treatment plan based on your unique needs. This can include a combination of procedures ranging from: abdominoplasty, liposuction, breast lifts, and breast augmentation.
Within the last few years, some of us have been able to switch to working from home. This has given many patients the opportunity to recover from their procedures while working from the comfort of their homes!
