Our Medical Aesthetician, Marlee, offers Complimentary Skin Consultations to ensure that the Medical Grade Skincare products that are purchased are what your skin really needs. She can also offer tailored treatments plans that can include skincare products, medical aesthetic treatments (such as chemical peels or facials), and even laser treatments. Gift cards can also be used towards Injectables with our Nurse Injector, Joelle, who also offers Complimentary Consultations to ensure your aesthetic goals can be achieved!

As the Christmas season approaches, we find that we get increasing amounts of inquiries about secretly purchasing or contributing to surgeries or consultations for loved ones. While this is such a great gesture, there are a few reasons why many cosmetic surgery clinics cannot allow monetary contributions prior to speaking with the intended patient! Here are a few:

Confidentiality

As we are a medical clinic, our patient’s confidentiality is one of our top priorities! We can not confirm a patient is our patient without their consent, and can also not discuss their history or future appointments/surgeries.

Surgeon Selection

Just as you want to purchase the correct gift, we also want to ensure that our patients receive the Surgeon of their dreams! All surgeons have their own style and aesthetic touch, which is what makes each surgeon unique. While we trust that you have your loved ones best interests in mind, you may not be sure which Calgary surgeon they are hoping to book with. This makes it even more crucial for us to speak with them directly!

Health History

Another key portion of cosmetic surgery is a patient’s candidacy. This is not only why consultations are so important, but also why we must speak with the patient directly! We have many patients who think they are interested in one specific procedure, but after speaking with members of our team, may find that other procedures may deliver their desired outcome more efficiently.

Patient Candidacy

An individual’s personal health history can reveal indicators that may be of note for the Surgeon, or could potentially make them ineligible for surgery. These indicators could be medications that they currently take, or even genetic health conditions that could endanger their health during surgery or their potential outcomes. Our patient’s safety is extremely important to us, which is why every single one of our patients is required to complete a health history form prior to their consultation.

While these reasons make it hard for us to allow loved ones to contribute prior to speaking with the intended patient, gift cards for our other services can be a great way to gift a loved one something great without having to let them in on the secret!
